The Vodafone Junior Warriors have been handed another Saturday NYC finals assignment when they return to Allianz Stadium to face Newcastle next weekend (5.15pm kick-off local time; 7.15pm NZT).

Their match will be the curtain-raiser to the NRL semi-final between first week loser Manly and Canterbury-Bankstown, which stunningly eliminated Melbourne 28-4 at AAMI Park today.

The Stacey Jones-coached Vodafone Junior Warriors reached week two of the NYC finals by ending the Sydney Roosters’ season with a 44-30 win yesterday.

Newcastle won the NYC minor premiership but was upset 22-30 by St George Illawarra yesterday.

In the other semi-final on Friday night, Brisbane meets Wests Tigers.

The schedule for week two of the 2014 NRL and NYC finals series is:

FRIDAY

Tickets for week two of the 2014 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series matches will go on sale to at 10am tomorrow (Monday, September 15) for ticketed members only.

Tickets for all fans will then go on sale from 10am Tuesday, September 16.
