There were a few great plays on the weekend. But this error free period of pressure on the Cowboys line was great to see. There was the initial surge for the first line drop out, then the grubber to force another, both from kicks by Chad Townsend. Then a batted Shaun Johnson pass to stop an overlap by Jonathan Thurston gave the Vodafone Warriors their fourth set in a row. It was here that they cracked the defence, with Konrad Hurrell crashing over for a try in his NRL return.
