Together with Vodafone Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah, Price, Vatuvei and Locke spent time with Victor and his family.


Vatuvei posted a photo on his Instagram account - @m_va2vei - with the comment: "Honoured to go and meet one of our passionate and loyal fans VICTOR!! No matter win or lose in his eyes we are still winners! Fighting bone cancer but still strong! Will be an inspiration to the team and myself! #inspiration"


On his Instagram account - @steveprice10 - Price said: "Just had the pleasure of meeting Victor who is a very passionate & loyal @NZWarriors fan.I was joined by @toppa01 and @m_va2vei to present a signed jersey from the club. He is an inspiration to us all fighting a brave battle with bone cancer. Keep fighting mate and c u at the first game next year. Love and thoughts from everyone in the Warriors family."


Posting another photo of Locke with Victor, Price said: "@toppa01 gave Victor a pair of his playing shorts and socks. You couldn't take the smile off hos face. Great work Nobby. Made a great fan's day."


And Locke commented: "It was an honour to meet one of the @NZWarriors biggest fans today. How good is it to make a person smile?"
