Friday night finals football is on the menu again for the Vodafone Junior Warriors in the NYC play-offs this week. Photosport


Theyll meet the Sydney Roosters in their NYC semi-final at Allianz Stadium this Friday (September 20), the match kicking off at 5.15pm local time.


The sixth-ranked side advanced to week two of the finals after eliminating seventh-placed South Sydney 20-18 at ANZ Stadium last Friday night.


The third-placed Roosters slumped to a 22-48 loss to second-placed Penrith on Saturday night to set up a sudden-death meeting with the Vodafone Junior Warriors.


The other NYC semi-final between Canberra and Wests Tigers will precede the Roosters-Vodafone Junior Warriors clash at 3.05pm.


Manly meets Cronulla in the first NRL semi-final at Allianz Stadium on Friday night (7.45pm).


Melbourne hosts the second NRL semi-final at AAMI Park on Saturday (7.45pm). The Storm will meet Newcastle following the Knights 22-6 victory over Canterbury-Bankstown in todays elimination final.


Eliminated from the NRL finals are the Bulldogs and the Cowboys while South Sydney and Brisbane are out of the NYC finals.

Tickets for Week 2 Telstra Premiership Finals Series matches will go on sale to Ticketed Members of the competing NRL teams at 10am tomorrow, Monday, September 16.


Tickets for all fans will then go on sale from 10am Tuesday, September 17.
