The Vodafone Junior Warriors can move to third spot for at least a few hours if they beat Manly in todays 22nd-round NYC match at Bluetongue Stadium (1.45pm kick-off NZT).
They were shunted down a spot on points for and against after Canterbury-Bankstowns big win against St George Illawarra on Monday night.
That left the Vodafone Junior Warriors and the Bulldogs on 29 points, the latter boasting a plus 122 points differential compared to plus 120.
The Vodafone Junior Warriors are favoured to not only win but win well today given they face the bottom-placed Sea Eagles. When they met at Mount Smart Stadium in June, the home side triumphed 52-20.
Coach John Ackland hasnt been able to field the same side named earlier in the week for much of this season but he has done so today, taking an unchanged 17 into this contest.
Standoff Tuimoala Lolohea, who kicked five goals in last weeks tough 34-14 win over Cronulla, needs just four points today to become the clubs first player to score 100 points this season.
