The Vodafone Warriors go into their second bye of the season with the clubs NRL side sitting just two points outside the top eight and still holding fourth on the NYC ladder.


While South Sydney (30), the Sydney Roosters (26) and Melbourne (20) have a break on the field, the congestion begins with Cronulla (20) and Manly (19) in fourth and fifth before hitting a real logjam from sixth through to 11th.


No fewer than five teams Newcastle, Penrith, Gold Coast, Canterbury-Bankstown and Canberra are on 18 from sixth to 10th while the Vodafone Warriors are just two points back on 16 after their surge up the ladder on the back of five wins and a bye.


Theres also a breakaway group in the NYC with Canberra (27), Penrith (26) and the Roosters (26) all clear of the pack led by the Vodafone Junior Warriors on 21.


In the New South Wales Cup, the Auckland Vulcans remain fifth on 21 points after their bye last weekend just one point out of the top four in a competition led by Cronulla on 34 points.


Mount Albert (26 points) has a four-point break at the top in Aucklands Fox Memorial premiership while in England theres a tight tussle at the head of the table between Wigan (33), Huddersfield (32) and Warrington (31).
