The Bulldogs sit just one game outside the eight after disposing of Wests Tigers 32-0 to make it four wins in their past five outings.
The Warriors snuck past the Dragons in a tight one in Auckland to close within one game of ladder leader Penrith as they chase their first minor premiership since 2002.
With the Roosters edging Newcastle 23-22 on Friday night, the Warriors slipped to third but will regain second spot if they can overcome Canterbury Bankstown.
With a win over the Warriors the last time they met in round 23 last year, and the added boost of skipper Stephen Crichton's return, the Bulldogs will fancy their chances of springing an upset.

Sean O'Sullivan moves to the bench after his starring role in Crichton's absence against Wests Tigers. Star back-rower Viliame Kikau returns to the starting side after coming back from injury via the bench last week so Josh Curran moves to the interchange. Jed Reardon is the new face on the bench.
One New Zealand Warriors: A switch to the bench in the 24-hour update, with Charnze Nicoll-Klostad coming in for Marata Niukore. Earlier, there were no changes to the starting side after the win over the Dragons last week.
