Time is running out for young players to register for the first of a series of four regional trials the One New Zealand Warriors are holding across the country over the coming months.
The opening event in Tauranga on Sunday, August 23, is for under-14 and under-16 players from the Coastline, Hauraki, Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.
Registrations close at 4.00pm this Sunday, July 26 (links to register below).
Further trials will follow in Christchurch (September 13), Wellington (September 20) and Auckland (October 17).
The trials are being held to identify emerging young players for the Warriors’ 2027 pathways squads.
All four invitation-only events are targeted at under-14 and under-16 players while there’ll also be under-18 trials in Christchurch and Auckland.
Players will be invited only within their geographical region while those from overseas will need to register for the Auckland region trial.
