NSW Cup Match Preview: New signings set for debuts

Newly-signed Riley Price and Luke Laulilii are set to make their One New Zealand Warriors debuts in today’s round 19 New South Wales Cup clash against the Western Suburbs Magpies at Lidcombe Oval in Sydney (1.30pm kick-off local time; 3.30pm NZT).

Middle forward Price, the 25-year-old son of Warriors great Steve Price, has joined the club from Queensland Cup side Redcliffe.

A three-game NRL player with North Queensland and Penrith, he has made more than 80 appearances in the Queensland Cup and New South Wales Cup competitions.

Winger Laulilii has joined the club for the rest of the season boasting 17 NRL appearances for the Wests Tigers. He was one the Warriors' six-man bench for their 32-6 NRL win over the Tigers last night.

Three other players included in the NRL team’s extended squad have also been named to face the Tigers today – second rower Morgan Gannon, hooker Makaia Tafua and halfback Luke Metcalf.

Despite two losses before last weekend’s bye, the Warriors are only four points behind the fourth and fifth placed Bulldogs and Newtown who have 24 points.
