JFC Match Preview: Strong lineup named to face Tigers

Refreshed after a bye, the One New Zealand Warriors need to rediscover winning touch when they take on Wests Tigers in today’s round 19 Jersey Flegg Cup (under-19) encounter at Lidcombe Oval in Sydney (11.30am kick-off local time; 1.30pm NZT).

In their last start they went down 22-30 to Canberra extending a pattern this season which has regularly seen a win followed by a loss.

That has left them in eighth spot on 22 points, four points out of the top five and five behind the Tigers who are fourth.

While sitting well up the ladder the Tigers have had indifferent form as well losing three of their last four games.

The Warriors have named a powerful lineup including Joseph Ratcliffe at fullback, the prolific Harry Tauafiafi and Brandon Norris on the wings, Harry Inch and Jack Thompson in the halves and a potent forward pack featuring Bishop Neal and Connor Bowden. Along with others in the squad they’ve had New South Wales Cup experience this season.
