Maxigesic Recovery Report: Healey fractures thumb

One New Zealand Warriors hooker Sam Healey is sidelined with a fractured thumb suffered in Sunday’s round 13 NRL clash against the Penrith Panthers at CommBank Stadium in Sydney.

Healey, who came off the field after 11 minutes of his stint late in the match, has had surgery.

He is expected to return in round 17-18.

Second rower Leka Halasima picked up a hamstring injury on Sunday night. It’s yet to be confirmed when he will be available to play again.

Winger Haizyn Mellars has returned to the injury list with his hamstring complaint.
