JFC Team List: Chasing vital victory against Storm in Melbourne

After following up three straight wins with back-to-back losses, the One New Zealand Warriors will be desperate to arrest the slip-up when they meet the Storm in Saturday's round six Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) match at Gosch’s Paddock in Melbourne (3.00pm kick-off local time; 5.00pm NZT).

Their story runs along the same lines as the club’s NRL team so far this season.

Both surged to commanding wins in the opening three rounds over the Roosters, Raiders and Knights but then each side hit bumps against Wests Tigers and the Sharks (the under-21s slumping to a heavy 12-36 loss last Sunday).

This week the Jersey Flegg side faces a Melbourne side which has lost all four matches played so far against the Eels (18-28), the Dragons (28-30), the Sharks (12-22) and the Panthers (26-34).

Back in the halves after being unavailable last week is Harry Inch but the Warriors will be without two key players in halfback Jack Thompson and centre Jeremiah Lemana who have been promoted to play for the club’s New South Wales Cup side.
