JFC Team List: Back on big stage to face Sharks

A return to the big stage awaits the One New Zealand Warriors when they meet the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks in today’s round five Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) at Ocean Protect Stadium in Sydney (11.35am kick-off local time; 1.35pm NZT).

The Easter Sunday match is the main curtain raiser to the NRL contest between the two clubs with both Warriors sides had their unbeaten starts to the season ended by the Wests Tigers last week.

The under-21 team was on track for win number four after leading 30-20 with 11 minutes to play but conceded three tries to fall 30-36, a result that saw them slip from the top of the table to fourth.

With a number of other sides having a bye this weekend, the Warriors go into today’s game lying seventh but will climb to second with a victory today over a Sharks running ninth after one win and two losses.

The Warriors have been the competition’s most prolific points-scoring side amassing 166 points in their four games.
