Boyd only Warrior to poll in Dally M voting after loss

Halfback Tanah Boyd was the only One New Zealand Warriors player to feature in the Dally M votes following Friday night’s disappointing round four loss to Wests Tigers.

Of the 12 available votes, Tigers players collected 11 after their 32-14 win with Boyd picking up the remaining vote.

It lifts him to 11 points on the leaderboard, falling a spot to fifth as Penrith halfback Nathan Cleary surged into the lead following his masterclass in the Panthers’ victory over Parramatta.

He was awarded the maximum six to leap to 18, one ahead of Warriors prop Jackson Ford who remains on 17.

Boyd added another two try assists on Friday night to lift his season tally to eight in the opening four rounds.
