Three games into their campaign, the One New Zealand Warriors’ Jersey Flegg Cup under-21 side is matching the start the club’s NRL team has made to 2026.
Indeed, the two teams’ records are so similar.
They each have three straight wins by big margins, the NRL team averaging 40 points with 120 for and 36 against (a differential of plus 84), the Jersey Flegg side averaging 45 points with 136 for and 48 against (a differential of plus 88).
The Flegg side has beaten the Roosters 44-14, the Raiders 48-28 and the Knights 44-6
This week they’re aiming for four straight when they face the Wests Tigers at Bruce Pulman Park in Takanini on Sunday (1.15pm). It's the last match of a triple header following the Warriors' SG Ball Cup and Harold Matthews Cup matches against Western Suburbs.

There has been some selection movement this week with hooker Braelan Marsh going up to the New South Wales Cup side along with Sio Kali joining the likes of Jack Thompson, Bishop Neal and Tepatasi Laumalili who are also Jersey Flegg-eligible players.
There’s a change in the halves with Harry Inch named at halfback and Joseph Ratcliffe moved from fullback to standoff.
The Warriors face a Tigers side lying just one points behind then on five points through a 52-16 win over the Silktails and a 22-22 draw with the Rabbitohs plus two points from their round one bye.
