HMC Team List: Stiffer challenge awaits Warriors

After seeing off the Central Coast Roosters in style last week, the One New Zealand Warriors face a sterner assignment in their first away match in the Harold Matthews Cup (under-17) competition today.

They take on the third-placed Canterbury Bankstown at Belmore Sports Ground (12.30pm kick-off NZT) in the first of three consecutive away games.

The Warriors dismissed the Roosters 50-18 in an emphatic performance to register their first win of the season to rise to seventh on the ladder while the Bulldogs have two wins and a loss so far.

First-year head coach Albert Vete named a settled side on Tuesday although he listed a number of new faces on an extended bench.

After enduring a close loss to Manly Warringah (18-24) in the first round, the Warriors fell 16-28 to South Sydney before rebounding following their third-round bye.

Winger Chris Sau and fullback Kaian Olsen scored two tries each in the impressive win against the Roosters.
