Rugby league’s origins and clubs throughout New Zealand are represented in the two newest additions to the ‘Warriors Rugby League’ range for the 2026 NRL season.
Unveiled today are the captain’s run tee and the eye-catching One New Zealand Warriors’ jersey for their two Preseason Challenge matches this month.
The green and blue toned kit for the trials will be on show for the first time for the Warriors’ encounter with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at McLean Park in Napier on Saturday, February 14 (3.40pm kick-off) and then again against the Dolphins in Sydney on Friday, February 20.
This year’s blue captain’s run tee – featuring each player’s name and club number – is worn at the final field session the day before each of the Warriors’ games.
The Preseason Challenge jersey sports an eye-catching blue retro collar, a nod to the game’s working class roots, while the stylish small chevrons on both tops represent rugby league clubs around the country.

Both apparel pieces tie into this year’s ‘Warriors Rugby League’ campaign including the consistent use of the club’s core colours in muted or lighter shades. By harking back to the code’s origins and grass roots clubs, the designs further reinforce rugby league’s deep sense of history.
‘Warriors Rugby League’ branding represents “connection, courage and determination, giving everything for one another, our people, and all of Aotearoa. Fuelled by passion, driven by purpose, and anchored in a legacy that carries us forward.”
The Preseason Challenge jersey and captain’s run tee are now on sale to the public from the One New Zealand Warriors’ SuperStore and other retail outlets.
