Fisher-Harris confirmed for All Stars for sixth time

James Fisher-Harris will become an All Star for a sixth time after being confirmed in the Māori All Stars for their annual clash with Indigenous team at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton on Sunday, February 15.

The 30-year-old Kiwi skipper and One New Zealand Warriors co-captain will lead the Māori side into the eighth edition of the clash of cultures and just the second played on New Zealand soil.

Ahead of the full men’s and women’s teams being officially released tomorrow, Fisher-Harris is one of four stars – one from each team – revealed before the announcement.

Parramatta’s Kennedy Cherrington has been confirmed for the Māori women’s team while Cronulla Sutherland’s Nicho Hynes and Gold Coast’s Jaime Chapman have been rubber-stamped for the Indigenous squads.

Fisher-Harris began his journey with the All Stars in the very first contest in Melbourne in 2019 was ruled out of the 2020 match, appeared in each of the next three including the first match in New Zealand in Rotorua in 2023, was unable to play in 2024 and returned again last year.

A significant number of Warriors players are in line to be named in the two 2025 sides tomorrow.
