Warriors Watch: How they fared in opening round of series

Rounding up the stats for all One New Zealand Warriors players who lined up in the opening round of the Pacific Championships.

In Sunday's double header at Go Media Stadium, three Warriors appeared for the Kiwis and two for Toa Sāmoa in the pulsating Pacific Cup battle won by the New Zealanders 24-18.

In the curtain raiser five of the club's players were involved in the Kiwi Ferns' thrilling 22-20 comeback win over Fetu Sāmoa in the first round of the women's Pacific Cup competition.

Four Warriors were in the Cook Islands Moana side which accounted for the PNG Orchids 34-6 in the women's Pacific Bowl contest in Port Moresby with one playing for Cook Islands Aitu in the 24-44 men's Pacific Bowl defeat by Fiji Bati.
