Meet the players ahead of State Championship final

Here’s a great school holidays attraction for kids and parents – get along to Go Media Stadium tomorrow (Thursday 2 October) to see the New South Wales Cup champions – and their trophy – ahead of Sunday’s NRL State Championship final at Accor Stadium.

The One New Zealand Warriors have opened up their last field session to the public before flying to Sydney to face Queensland Cup premiers the Burleigh Bears on NRL grand final day at Accor Stadium (1.20pm kick-off local time; 3.20pm NZDT).

Fans are invited to watch the training session on the #4 field at Go Media Stadium starting at 1.30pm. Parking will be available via the stadium’s O’Rorke Road entrance (51 O’Rorke Road).

There’ll be a chance to check out the New South Wales Cup trophy the Warriors brought home after being St George Illawarra 30-12 in last Sunday’s grand final at CommBank Stadium.

And kids and fans can also meet the players who clinched the club’s historic first senior championship.
