Maxigesic Recovery Report: NRL and NRLW injury update

One New Zealand Warriors centre Rocco Berry will have surgery after dislocating his right shoulder in the opening minutes of last Friday night's clash against the Sea Eagles.

Berry was just five minutes into his third match back from a lay-off - and only his ninth game of the season - when the season-ending injury happened.

While Berry returns to the injury list, hooker Wayde Egan (hip) came off it after sitting out the Manly encounter.

Fellow hooker Freddy Lussick and centre Ali Leiataua remain on the injury list with ankle injuries along with second rower Jacob Laban (leg).

Of the injured players from the club's NRLW squad, prop Metanoia Fotu-Moala (hamstring) has been named on the extended bench for the Warriors' season-ending clash against the Wests Tigers.

Rookie half Patricia Maliepo (hamstring) is sidelined after being forced off the field in Sunday's match against the Broncos in Hamilton while back rower Maarire Puketapu is following concussion protocols.
