Maxigesic Recovery Report: NRL and NRLW update

Centre Ali Leiataua’s return from injury status has been changed to ‘indefinite’ as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.

It was hoped the 22-year-old would be able to make his comeback in round 25.

In a disrupted season he has made only eight NRL appearances, the last of those in round 12 against Canberra.

Since then he has played four times for the club’s New South Wales Cup side but was again injured in the last of those against South Sydney last month

Kurt Capewell (concussion), Te Maire Martin (concussion) and Rocco Berry (shoulder) have all come off the injury list and are set to make their NRL returns against Gold Coast this week.

Halfback Emily Curtain and winger Lavinia Tauhalaliku have been added to the list of NRLW players either injured or unavailable

Curtain has suffered a season-ending knee injury while Tauhalaliku, who scored a try in her club debut against Canberra, is following concussion protocols.
