Maxigesic Recovery Report: DWZ, Leiataua cleared

One New Zealand Warriors outside backs Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Ali Leiataua set to return to action in Sunday’s tripleheader game day at Go Media Stadium.

Both have recovered from ankle injuries with Watene-Zelezniak named on the wing for the Warriors’ round 19 NRL home match against the Wests Tigers on Sunday (4.00pm kick-off) while Leiataua is set to line up for the club’s competition-leading New South Wales Cup team against Western Suburbs (11.40am kick-off).

The three players in recovery all have knee injuries.

Fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is due to be available in round 21 after suffering a moderate lateral collateral ligament (LCL) sprain in his left knee in the loss to Brisbane.

Captain Mitchell Barnett and halfback Luke Metcalf are out for the season with ACL knee injuries.
