Our Saturday double kicked off at Sharks Stadium with the battle of the big men Addin Fonua-Blake and James Fisher-Harris before the speed men Reece Walsh and Jayden Campbell took centre stage at Suncorp Stadium.

After four standout seasons as a Warrior, AFB headed back across the Tasman to swim with the Sharks in 2025, while JFH has had his first season as a Warrior interrupted by injury and suspension but came out on top in their duel.

With fellow enforcer Mitch Barnett gone for the season with an ACL injury, Fisher-Harris is looking to step up and show the way in the run to the finals.

The Broncos ended a four-game losing streak against an equally desperate Titans side that has now slumped to last on the ladder with a 3-9 record.

Not that they needed any added motivation to turn things around but the Broncos were determined to ensure captain Adam Reynolds' 300th NRL game was one to remember.

Warriors: Round 14

Fulltime: Shaun Johnson described the Warriors 40-10 defeat of the Sharks as the most complete performance he had seen by the New Zealand club. Inspired by the defensive efforts of fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, the Warriors piled on five second half tries while shutting out the Sharks at their home ground. The win was the Warriors 10th of the season and it is the first time they have won five matches in Sydney since 1995. It was even more impressive given they were without NSW Origin prop Mitch Barnett and hooker Wayde Egan through injury. For the Sharks, it was the second consecutive loss in which they have conceded 40 points or more after losing 42-16 to the Roosters in Round 12.

77 min: Harris Tavita grabbed back to back tries after intercepting a Hynes pass and racing 90 metres to score. Warriors 40 Sharks 10.

James Fisher-Harris Try

Halftime summary: After dominating the early exchanges, the Warriors would be relieved to go to the interval leading 12-10 after the Sharks fought their way back into the game. Errors and penalties proved costly for Cronulla against the team with the best completion rate in the NRL but momentum swung once the Sharks gained a share of possession. Centres Kayal Iro and Jesse Ramien, fullback Will Kennedy and winger Mawene Hiroti have all produced a first half line break for the Sharks, while the Warriors two tries have come from kicks.

40 min: Warriors fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad produced a try saving effort on the stroke of halftime by reefing the ball from the grasp of Sharks prop Braden Hamlin-Uele after a Trindall kick bounced up for him.

That's some effort from Nicoll-Klokstad!

35 min: Iro became the first player of the NRL era to score a try in his first nine consecutive appearances of the season after Trindall picked up a loose ball from a Hynes kick and quickly shifted it to the Cook Islands star. Hynes missed the conversion. Warriors 12 Sharks 10.

24 min: Hiroti finished some impressive ball movement by the Sharks in the left corner after a break by right centre Jesse Ramien. Quick hands by Nicho Hynes, Braydon Trindall and KL Iro got the ball to Hiroti with space to move and he made no mistake. Hynes converted. Warriors 10 Sharks 6.

15 min: The Warriors have gone further ahead after Chanel Harris-Tavita chased his own kick and Adam Pompey pounced on a loose ball after Will Kennedy fumbled. Metcalf converted. Warriors 10-0.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak Try

5 min: Sharks winger Mawene Hiroti has conceded the first penalty of the match for holding down Kurt Capewell too long.

Team News

Sharks: No late changes. The loss of Ronaldo Mulitalo to suspension is offset by fellow winger Sione Katoa's early return from a shoulder injury. Back-rower Teig Wilton is also back from a shoulder injury suffered in Round 7 so Billy Burns slides to 18th man.

Warriors: Jackson Ford drops back to the bench and Murata Niukore starts in the frontrow after Mitch Barnett suffered a season-ending ACL injury against Souths. Hard-running back-rower Leka Halasima has been promoted to the starting side so Kurt Capewell moves to centre to fill in for Rocco Berry (hamstring). Jacob Laban also starts in the secondrow after Niukore was pushed up front. Tanner Stowers-Smith joins the bench. Cronulla junior Sam Healey will start at hooker after Wayde Egan was ruled out with a hip injury. Taine Tuaupiki is 18th man.
