One New Zealand Warriors co-captains Mitchell Barnett and James Fisher-Harris are set for just their seventh outing together in today's round 13 NRL match against the Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium in Sydney (2.00pm kick-off local time; 4.00pm NZT).

They started each of the first five matches of the season together but Fisher-Harris was on the field for just eight minutes against the Storm before being forced off with a pectoral injury.

Since then the veterans have had just one match together in harness - the round 11 16-12 win over the Dolphins - before both missed last Sunday's clash against the Raiders.

Their return today provides a timely boost as the Warriors aim to bounce back from last Sunday's bruising battle at Go Media Stadium.

They face a South Sydney side sitting ninth four points behind them on 14; the Rabbitohs had wins over Brisbane and Wests Tigers in their previous two games.

Halfback Jamie Humphreys continues to develop his game and is set to engage in a mouth-watering battle with in-form Warriors playmaker Luke Metcalf.

The 26-year-old is the current Dally M leader, holding a two-point lead over Cronulla's Will Kennedy, with voting to go behind closed doors from round 13 onwards.

Team news

Rabbitohs: Just the one change to the side that got the job done against Wests Tigers ahead of the bye with Sean Keppie joining the bench in place of Liam Le Blanc, who is listed as 18th man. Superstar fullback Latrell Mitchell has been named to back up from Origin One and remained in the squad when it was trimmed to 19 on Saturday.

One New Zealand Warriors: James Fisher-Harris returns from suspension and centre Rocco Berry (hamstring) is also back on deck. Mitch Barnett has been named to back up from Origin. Leka Halasima goes back to the bench after starting against the Raiders and Jacob Laban moves to 18th man. No changes in Saturday's 24-hour update.
