Judiciary: Berry facing suspension on high tackle charge

One New Zealand Warriors centre Rocco Berry is facing suspension after being charged with a grade two careless high tackle offence following Sunday's loss to the Storm.

The charge related to Berry's 73rd minute tackle on Melbourne centre Jack Howarth.

Should Berry enter an early guilty plea he will miss Saturday's match against the Broncos; if he fights the charge and is found guilty at the judiciary that increases to two games.

Brisbane will be without back rower Jack Gosiewski after he copped a one-game ban, also for a careless high tackle.

Gosiewski's tackle on Victor Radley in the 29th minute of Friday's clash at Suncorp Stadium was classified as a grade two offence, which carried a one-game suspension with an early guilty plea.

Fellow Bronco Kotoni Staggs has been fined $1800 after entering an early guilty plea to a dangerous contact offence.
