Maxigesic Recovery Report: Minor niggles for some players

Minor training niggles resulted in several players not being considered for the One New Zealand Warriors’ opening Preseason Challenge match against Cronulla Sutherland on Friday night.

While they were unavailable this week most of them will be in contention for the club’s second and final preseason outing against Melbourne at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton on February 15 (3.30pm kick-off).

Not included in the extended squad this week were halves Chanel Harris-Tavita and Tanah Boyd, back rowers Jackson Ford and Leka Halasima, front rower Tom Ale and centre Rocco Berry while Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was a late withdrawal.

Most of the group have what are described as “minor niggles”.

The time frame for Berry’s return from a shoulder is listed as indefinite at this stage.
