Tripleheaders feature in New South Wales Cup draw

Tripleheader home games feature in the One New Zealand Warriors’ draw released for the 2025 New South Wales Cup season.

A ‘Super Sunday’ football bill has been confirmed for July 13 when the Warriors have their first NRLW home home game at Go Media Stadium in their return to the competition.

It will be just the second time the NRLW side has played at home, six years after the first in 2019.

The club’s New South Wales Cup team will kick off the day with its round 19 match against the Western Suburbs Magpies at 11.40am followed by the second-round NRLW encounter between the Warriors and the Parramatta Eels at 1.50pm and the round 19 NRL contest between the One New Zealand Warriors and the Wests Tigers at 4.00pm.

The NSW Cup team will then kick start another triple treat on Saturday, July 26 with a 12.35pm start to its round 21 match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs ahead of the Warriors-Gold Coast Titans fourth-round NRLW battle at 2.45pm and the round 21 NRL showdown against the Titans at 5.00pm.

The One New Zealand Warriors are scheduled to open their 2025 NSW Cup season with an away game against the Canberra Raiders on Saturday, March 8 with the time and venue still to be confirmed.

Venue and kick-off details are also unconfirmed for three of the Warriors’ home games in round six against the Newtown Jets, round eight against the Newcastle Knights and round 25 against the Parramatta Eels.

The One New Zealand Warriors will play their round 10 home game in Australia on the weekend of the competition’s Regional Magic Round on Saturday, May 10. While five games will be played at Scully Park in Tamworth on that day, the Warriors will be the ‘home’ team for their match against the Raiders in Wollongong.
