Maxigesic Recovery Report: Capewell ruled out

Seasoned second rower Kurt Capewell has joined the injury list with a throat injury suffered in the One New Zealand Warriors’ loss to St George Illawarra last Friday night.

The 30-year-old Queenslander finished the match but has been ruled out of the Anzac Day encounter with Gold Coast on Thursday.

His return to play timeline is yet to be confirmed.

While he is sidelined utility Dylan Walker has been cleared to return against the Titans.

Utility Chanel Harris-Tavita is expected to be out of contention for four weeks with a calf injury, Jazz Tevaga for four to six weeks with a hamstring issue and Bunty Afoa six to eight weeks also with a hamstring problem. Marata Niukore is expected to make a midseason return from his foot injury.
