Torrential rain in Sydney has forced the postponement of the One New Zealand Warriors’ scheduled fifth-round Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) clash against the Rabbitohs in Sydney tomorrow (Saturday).
The match was due to be played at Erskineville Oval (10.00am kick-off local time) but the New South Wales Rugby League made the decision this morning to postpone it.
Flooding and weather warnings are in place as a major rain event unfolds across Sydney and New South Wales with 100mls of rain forecast for the next 24 hours.
The match against South Sydney has been rescheduled for the weekend of May 18-19.
