Maxigesic Recovery Report: Tuaupiki ruled out

One New Zealand Warriors fullback Taine Tuaupiki has been ruled out of the round four clash against Newcastle as he follows concussion protocols.

Tuaupiki left the field for a head injury assessment six minutes into the second half of last Friday night’s clash against Canberra in Christchurch.

He was unable to return to the field after failing his HIA.

Fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is in line to return from his hamstring injury in the fifth-round match against South Sydney on April 6.

Hooker Wayde Egan (elbow), Marata Niukore (foot) and Dylan Walker (ankle) have all been named to return to the NRL lineup for Sunday’s fourth-round match against Newcastle at Go Media Stadium.
