The Anderson years: Players who appeared under him

Daniel Anderson was an unknown coach when he started his career with the One New Zealand Warriors in 2001 - but that didn't last long.

In his first season he guided the club to the NRL finals for the first time.

In his second he took the team to the minor premiership and then all the way to the Warriors' first grand final appearance.

And in his third the side came within a win of a repeat grand final outing.

In all he coached the Warriors in 92 matches with 51 wins, two draws and 39 losses in an era which produced a plethora of superstars.

Almost 50 players appeared in Anderson-coached teams, the last of them Warrior #115 Manu Vatuvei.
