Injury Report: Kosi on track to return this month

One New Zealand winger Edward Kosi is on target to make a return from his knee injury later this month.

He has been side-lined with a medial femoral condyle fracture he suffered in the round 10 loss to Penrith on May 6.

Head of performance Balin Cupples said Kosi has been building strength and full weight running loads and is set to return to field running this week.

Dylan Walker’s toe injury has ruled him out of the last two games against Brisbane and the Dolphins but it’s hoped he will recover for Friday night’s away clash against Canberra.

Standoff Te Maire Martin had positive scans on his fractured fibula last week and is undergoing weight-bearing activity in preparation to run.

Middle forward Jazz Tevaga (calf) continues strength work in preparation to run and is beginning the early stages of rehab running.

Hooker Freddy Lussick is working through concussion protocols and is expected to be available for selection this week while centre Rocco Berry is also following protocols after a head knock prevented him returning to the field against the Dolphins on Saturday night.

Centre Viliami Vailea has a minor AC joint injury.
