Dally M Update: AFB's back-to-back points grab

Two outstanding performances in the space of five days have seen One New Zealand Warriors prop Addin Fonua-Blake rewarded in the Dally M standings.

Playing big minutes against the Storm on Anzac Day and the Roosters on Sunday, he had his most productive outings of the season.

Against the Storm he scored the opening try, carried the ball 20 times for 177 metres, made seven tackle breaks and 42 tackles in the 70 minutes he was on the field.

His time was stepped up to 75 minutes against the Roosters just five days later. Switched to play loose forward, he had 22 runs, made 194 metres (the most by any player), three tackle breaks and 34 tackles in another relentless display.

In the beaten side he was a standout in both games, being awarded two points against the Storm and three in the match against the Roosters.

It took his Dally M total to seven points, well short of the leader Payne Haas (23).

One New Zealand Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson remains in the top 10 with 17 points.
