SG Ball side faces toughest test of season so far

After picking up wins against the bottom three clubs, the fifth-placed One New Zealand Warriors take a step up when they face the fourth-ranked Newcastle Knights at St Johns Oval on Sunday (11.00am kick-off).

It’s the third road trip for Adam Blair-coached side after picking up away wins over South Sydney (10-8) and Melbourne (56-18).

They made it three straight wins last Sunday but their first home match of the season was a severe test before they scored two late tries to beat St George Illawarra.

They’re one of only four unbeaten sides and hold fifth spot despite having a game in hand.
