Cyclone threat forces postponement of Manly match

Cyclone Gabrielle’s predicted arrival has forced the postponement of the One New Zealand Warriors’ scheduled second-round match against Manly.

The two teams were due to meet at Pukekohe’s Navigation Homes Stadium at 12.00pm tomorrow.

Based on a severe weather warning being issued for Auckland and the upper North Island, the New South Wales Rugby League decided to postpone the match.

It will now be rescheduled for the Easter weekend break (April 7, 8 and 9).

The Adam Blair-coached One New Zealand Warriors marked their return to the competition after a three-year break with a 10-8 win over South Sydney last Sunday.
