Aspiring players in the under-16 and under-18 age brackets are now invited to register for Sky Sport Future Warriors trials in Auckland on October 15 and 16.
To be held at Cornwall Park, the trials mark another key step on the road to rebuilding the Vodafone Warriors’ pathways ahead of reintroducing a team in the New South Wales Rugby League’s S G Ball Cup (under-19) competition from next season.
The search for more prospective players in Auckland will follow on from the under-16 and under-18 trials being held in Christchurch on September 17 and 18.
Registrations for the Auckland event will close at 3.00pm on Sunday, September 25
The trials are open to players throughout New Zealand and Australia. Players considered will be under-16 (born in 2006-2007) and under-18 (born in 2004-2005).
Once registrations are closed, the Sky Sport Future Warriors will invite about 50 players in each age bracket to participate in the Saturday trials.
