Confirmed line-up: Egan late withdrawal for Penrith clash

A battered and bruised Vodafone Warriors side has lost another senior player with hooker Wayde Egan out of tonight's penultimate match of the season against defending premier Penrith at BlueBet Stadium (6.00pm kick-off local time; 8.00pm NZT).

The injured 86-game Egan has been replaced by Freddy Lussick, who'll make his 10th appearance of the season and just his third start.

Coming onto the bench for Lussick is Taniela Otukolo.

Interim head coach Stacey Jones has also made another switch with Dunamis Lui coming into the starting line-up and Bunty Afoa now on the interchange alongside Otukolo, Tom Ale and Ben Murdoch-Masila.

Egan joins centre Marcelo Montoya and second rowers Euan Aitken and Jack Murchie who have also been ruled out while centre Jesse Arthars is out of contention with a virus and back rowers Jazz Tevaga and Bayley Sironen plus halfback Ronald Volkman are side-lined with season-ending injuries.

Jones admitted on Tuesday that the Vodafone Warriors had a number of battered players following last Friday night's loss to North Queensland.

Today Montoya was added to the injury toll before the squad flew to Sydney.
