Halfback Shaun Johnson and centre Viliami Vailea are on track to return from the injuries they suffered in the Vodafone Warriors’ opening match of the NRL season against St George Illawarra.

Johnson (pectoral) and Vailea (knee) were expected to be out for three to four weeks which would have put them in line to be available for either this Saturday’s fourth-round encounter with the Brisbane Broncos or the fifth-round game against North Queensland on Friday, April 8.

Both Johnson and Vailea are set to build into team training this week. To that end, Johnson was today named in jersey #24 on the Vodafone Warriors' extended bench for their fourth-round NRL encounter with Brisbane on Saturday.

Winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (broken thumb) is progressing well as he looks to make his return later next month. He is back running.

No date has yet been set for halfback Ash Taylor’s return from a hip injury which troubled him in the second-round loss to Gold Coast.
