Vodafone Warriors centre Euan Aitken could be sidelined for between eight to 10 weeks with an ankle injury.
The 25-year-old is likely to have surgery this week after suffering a high ankle sprain in his left leg while making his club debut in the Vodafone Warriors’ 19-6 season-opening victory over Gold Coast at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday.
Despite the injury, Aitken played the full 80 minutes making 133 metres from 13 runs plus 16 tackles without a miss.
