Titans name three ex-Vodafone Warriors in squad

Three former Vodafone Warriors have been named in Gold Coast’s line-up to face their old club in Saturday’s first-round NRL encounter at Central Coast Stadium in Gosford.

Patrick Herbert is starting in the centres while Sam Lisone and Erin Clark are both named in the game day interchange.

Herbert (24) made his debut as Vodafone Warrior #234 against Melbourne in 2019 before finished his two-season stint with 21 appearances and 10 tries including seven tries in 13 games last year.

Lisone (27) became Vodafone Warriors #196 when he debuted against Newcastle in the first-round of the 2015 season. He went on to make 85 appearances for the club before linking up with the Titans last season.

Clark (23) debuted as Vodafone Warrior #216 against Melbourne in 2017. It was his only NRL appearance for the club before signing with the Canberra Raiders that season. He left the Raiders at the end of the year to return home but reappeared on the NRL scene when he joined the Titans last year, reviving his first-grade career with 10 outings including five starts at hooker.
