Outlook improves for Egan after scans om elbow

Injured hooker Wayde Egan's prospects of an early return have improved but he remains in doubt for the Vodafone Warriors' first-round NRL clash against the Gold Coast Titans at Central Coast Stadium on March 13.

Egan left the field with a right elbow injury early in the club's trial against the Titans in Lismore on Saturday.

He had scans on Sunday which have confirmed there is no bone damage or ruptured tendons on ligaments.
