Climb aboard the Vodafone Warriors' bus

Tickets please to take a ride with the Vodafone Warriors on their very own bus in 2020.

New owner Mark Robinson had his special Christmas gift delivered to Mount Smart Stadium this week as the players resumed training after their two-week festive season break.

Spectacularly decked out in the club’s livery, it will add a new dimension to the Vodafone Warriors in 2020.

“Buying the club’s own bus and having it fitted out in Vodafone Warriors colours has been a special project for Mark since Autex became our sole owner last year. He was so passionate about it and so excited to see it delivered this week,” said Vodafone Warriors CEO Cameron George.

“We’re just as excited as Mark is. Seeing our own bus is a sensational way to start the New Year and we can’t thank Mark and Autex enough.”

George said the bus would principally be used by the club’s teams for various purposes including travel to and from Auckland International Airport for away games.

“We’ll also have it out and about for school visits and community appearances and activities while we’ll also run competitions giving teams and community groups the chance to travel to the bus for our home games or visits to the club,” he said.
