Vodafone Warriors loose forward Jazz Tevaga has been side-lined after having minor surgery on an ongoing ankle injury.
While the 24-year-old Toa Samoa international was troubled by the complaint for much of the 2019 campaign he managed to play through it.
Despite offseason rest the injury didn’t respond as well as hoped when Tevaga returned to preseason training last month.
He had surgery last night to improve stability of the syndesmosis in his left ankle.
It’s yet to be determined how long he will be side-lined for.
