Former Vodafone Warriors NRL stars Stacey Jones, Ruben Wiki and Motu Tony handed the Warriors’ NRLW players their jerseys in a memorable presentation event today before the team flew out for tomorrow’s first-round clash against the Sydney Roosters in Melbourne (3.05pm kick-off local time; 5.05pm NZT).

The presentation preceded the squad’s final training session ahead of the club’s second tilt at the ground-breaking NRLW competition.

In a special touch recently-inducted NRL Hall of Famers Jones and Wiki – both on the club’s football staff – combined with 2001-2003 Vodafone Warrior Tony, who champions the women’s rugby league cause in his role as the New Zealand Rugby League’s general manager high performance.
