Keighran confirmed on interchange

With Chanel Harris-Tavita starting in the halves, fellow 20019 rookie Adam Keighran has been brought onto the bench for the Vodafone Warriors’ 19th-round NRL match against Parramatta at Bankwest Stadium in Sydney today (3.00pm kick-off local time; 5.00pm NZT).

Harris-Tavita is paired at standoff with veteran halfback Blake Green for only the third time in what will be his eighth career appearance.

The duo combined in Harris-Tavita’s NRL debut against Gold Coast in the fourth round and teamed up again against Newcastle in round eight.

Harris-Tavita has had an interchange role in the last two matches against Brisbane and Cronulla when he has run at hooker, centre and on the wing.

With his return to replace the injured Kodi Nikorima – out with an ankle injury – head coach Stephen Kearney has called in Keighran for cover on the bench. Keighran is in line to make his fourth NRL appearance and his first since figuring in the first three matches of the season.
