Iggy's losing his locks for cancer

When Vodafone Warriors prop Agnatius Paasi lets his hair flow loose there’s no shortage of it but it will all be gone later this month when he cuts it off in support of the Shave for a Cure cause.

Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand’s Shave for a Cure raises funds for patients and their families living with a blood cancer or related blood condition.

It’s deeply personal for 28-year-old ‘Iggy’. His aunt had cancer, so he knows how this illness affects families first-hand and why donations are critical for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer NZ (LBC) to be able to provide the support it does.

In his bid to raise funds and awareness for LBC, Paasi has made a commitment to shave his hair after growing it out for four years.

He’s encouraging everyone to go to his page and give generously. Every little bit helps.

A date for the big shave hasn’t been set yet but it’s likely to be towards the end of the month.
