Own Kearney's World Cup jersey

Own a piece of exclusive rugby league history and help support The Great Vodafone Warriors Charity Day in the process.

On Sunday we take on the Penrith Panthers at Mt Smart Stadium and will be looking to raise as much money as possible for our five great charity partners - KidsCan, Le Va, Paralympics New Zealand, Ronald McDonald House and Shine.

Read here to find out how you can help

Or you can head straight to Trade Me to check out the amazing memorabilia up for grabs like this jersey from the personal collection of Vodafone Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney and comes from his time in charge of the Kiwis.

Make your bids here

Signed by Kearney and New Zealand's only World Cup-winning captain Nathan Cayless, this exact jersey was presented to the Kiwi coach the night before the Rugby League World Cup final in 2008.

As all league fans know, the underdog Kiwis would go on to win that decider, defeating the star-studded Kangaroos 34-20 at Suncorp Stadium.

The winning bidder will find themselves in possession of a wonderful piece of New Zealand rugby league history. Not only is this one of only a handful of limited-edition World Cup final jerseys given to the players and support staff, it also features Kearney’s name monogrammed on the collar.

Up until now, money couldn’t buy something so precious.

But in support of The Great Vodafone Warriors Charity Day, our humble coach has dug deep into his own personal collection of league memorabilia to donate this precious item.

Please bid generously. All proceeds will be donated to our five great charity partners.
