Knights bringing settled side

Newcastle head coach Nathan Brown has named a settled side for the eighth-round NRL clash against the Vodafone Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday (4.05pm).

The Knights moved up to 11th on the ladder with their impressive 28-14 dismantling of Parramatta last weekend. They’re on four points, one place ahead of the Vodafone Warriors on points for and against differential.

Kalyn Ponga, who scored a try and kicked six goals from six attempts, is again at fullback in a line-up which includes ex-Vodafone Warriors James Gavet and Mason Lino on an extended bench. Also in the side are Kiwi internationals Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Danny Levi and Herman Ese’ese as well as Auckland-born centre Hymel Hunt.
