The Vodafone Warriors have made a late change for today’s NRL trial against Wests Tigers at the Northland Events Centre in Whangarei today (5.00pm kick-off).

Northland born and bred Adam Blair will miss playing in front of his home crowd.

He was all set to start in the second row but will sit the match out as a precaution after pulling up from yesterday’s final field session with slight hamstring tightness.

Medical staff said the issue was minor and Blair would be fit for the opening round against the Bulldogs.

Isaiah Papali’i will now start in the second row with new signing Lachlan Burr at loose forward.
